Authenticity and guarantees
Authentic coins, carefully selected
Each coin offered for sale is authentic and has been carefully examined prior to being listed.
The selection is based on a rigorous approach, founded on direct observation, typological comparison and the consultation of recognised numismatic references.
No reproductions, copies, or imitations are offered on this site, unless specifically stated.
Expertise based on experience and method
The authentication of coins relies on several essential criteria:
style and quality of engraving
weight and diameter
metal and patina
wear and traces of circulation
consistency with known types and issues
Etc.
As much as possible, the coins are compared to reference catalogs and specialised numismatic corpora.
Transparent and detailed descriptions
Each product listing includes:
identification of the coin (authority, era, type)
technical characteristics (metal, weight, diameter)
an honest description of the state of preservation
As ancient objects, coins naturally show signs of age and circulation. These elements are an integral part of their history and are always taken into account in the description.
The photographs displayed on the website are produced with the greatest care in order to reflect the actual appearance of each coin as accurately as possible. They are taken under neutral lighting conditions and without retouching intended to alter the appearance of the coin.
Technical means evolve over time, and the aim is to progressively improve the quality of the photographs while remaining faithful to the reality of the object offered.
The images are intended to provide a truthful representation of the coin; however, slight variations in rendering may occur depending on screens and viewing conditions.
A guarantee of authenticity
All coins sold are guaranteed to be authentic.
Should an error be identified despite the care taken during the authentication process, a return is possible in accordance with the applicable legal conditions, and a refund will be issued, subject to mutual agreement between seller and buyer.
The satisfaction and trust of collectors are at the heart of this approach.
A respectful approach to heritage
